Remember Yahoo GeoCities, the hyped about webpage creation service that helped people like me and you create web pages instantly before the web 2.0 era? Well today Yahoo! is officially discontinuing GeoCities after a decade.
"We have decided to discontinue the process of allowing new customers to sign up for GeoCities accounts as we focus on helping our customers explore and build new relationships online in other ways," the company said.
