Verizon sells hundred thousand Motorola DROID units at Launch

A stock market analyst, Mark McKechnie, estimated that Verizon stores had 200,000 units of the Motorola DROID on hand to sale at launch. He figures that the stores were able to sell half of its’ stock which would indicate that Big Red sold 100,000 phones during the opening weekend.
