Today, Google has launched an enhanced version of the Google Search app for iPad and trust me its awesome. It looks like the Micro-hoo partnership is not working, as the search share of Microsoft’s Bing and Yahoo has declined in October 2011 according to report by ComScore.   Google Sites accounted for 66.2 percent of total core search queries conducted (up 0.8 percentage points), followed by Yahoo! Yahoo, Microsoft and Flickr on Anti-Porn compaign in India

Yahoo has announced that it is blocking sex searches for all those on the Indian subcontinent. Its decision came after a similar statement from Microsoft's Bling, er, Bing last week.   Latest reports suggest that Yahoo search engine, Microsoft’s Bing search engine, and Flickr, recently made alteration to their setting by which Indian users will not be able to switch off the safe-search facility. Well today, when I saw that the likes of Google, buying premium text links on its primal rival, Microsoft Bing, I was astonished. According to ComScore and qSearch, Microsoft's retaliation against Google search, Bing has gained significant market share reaching out close to 10% market share of U.S. searches, thats 2 large points in five months. Clearly Microsoft must be doing something right. The good part coming from it's recent deals with twitter and Facebook and then going on towards nutritional data search integration with Wolfram Alpha.
