Ex-TechCrunch senior editor Sarah Lacy, has started a new tech startup site called Pando Daily. Ad Age reported the name early December stating that former TechCrunch founder Mike Arrignton would be supporting the venture through his CrunhFund.
This is probably the biggest news today amongst various Silicon valley tech news sites because, Sarah was well versed and quite well known for her authorship skills at TechCrunch. And adding to surprises, the site will feature three of TechCrunch’s most high-profile former writers, Michael Arrington, M.G. Siegler and Paul Carr.
"The mission of the site is simple: To be the site of record for the startup ecosystem," Ms. Lacy wrote in an email. "I think it’ll be more similar to the old pre-AOL [TechCrunch] than the current [TechCrunch], which covers a lot of big companies. But we want to be more comprehensive than the old [TechCrunch]." Sarah Mentions.
We wish her the best of luck and hope that this mega staff reunion at PandoDaily rocks the tech world again.
