a systems programming language expressive, concurrent, garbage-collected
Google is going at it’s full go these day’s. First the acquisition of AdMob going deeper into the mobile advertising space. Then the success of its Android 2.0 platform via the Droid phone. And now making things more seamless and efficient for the web, today the search giant released Go, an open-source development language that Google believes will combine performance with speed, and one that the company hopes would change how development is done, especially for the web. Now that’s a Home Run!!!
So what is Go?
Go is primarily based on C, the worlds most fav programming language amalgamated with Python, Pascal, Modula and Oberon languages.
Why a programming Language:(FAQ’s)
No major systems language has emerged in over a decade, but over that time the computing landscape has changed tremendously. There are several trends:
-
Computers are enormously quicker but software development is not faster.
-
Dependency management is a big part of software development today but the “header files” of languages in the C tradition are antithetical to clean dependency analysis—and fast compilation.
-
There is a growing rebellion against cumbersome type systems like those of Java and C++, pushing people towards dynamically typed languages such as Python and JavaScript.
-
Some fundamental concepts such as garbage collection and parallel computation are not well supported by popular systems languages.
-
The emergence of multicore computers has generated worry and confusion.

A good deal of individuals recently have been asking me what measures they should consider to resolve their spam problems. Three client-side programmes come to mind – Cloudmark and Spamcop. These do a superb job of intercepting mail because people become part of a community. Your giant ISPs now provide a similiar function if they have a “report spam” button. Ultimately, people are, on average, a good read about what is spam, and what is not. Numerous major ISPs, such as hotmail.com, earthlink.net, and yahoo.com have got these features built-in.
