The event of the day is all about Google Chrome OS, the highly speculated OS is said to be previewed in its early form today. Google is hosting an event today at its Mountain View, CA headquarters to showcase its progress, provide an overview of the platform, and give information on its “launch plans for next year.”
Sundar Pichai, Google’s vice president of product management and Matthew Papakipos, Google engineering director for Google Chrome OS, will speak at the event, according to TechCrunch.
The five main questions that I am sure everyone would be asking are:
1) How Long Until Liftoff?
2) Where Do Developers Fit in?
3) What’s Up With the Hardware?
4) Will it be available for download today to developers?
5) What the strategy for deployment to OEMs?
I hope to get them answered this evening.
What do you think about it?
