Well just yesterday we covered about a new startup called Gazopa, which had pretty search for similar images, not only that with a cool FREE iPhone app as well to help you instantly search with your snap taken from the phone.
And now Google has finally unveiled and graduated it’s own “Similar Search” towards the masses. The similar images feature would be available on Google Image search. All you have to do is click "Find similar images" below the most popular images in our search results.
For example, if you search for jaguar, you can use the "Find similar images" link to find more pictures of the car or the animal.
So, let’s say you want to find images of Tom Cruise. Google Images will provide you with a rich variety of results. Instead of poring through hundreds of images, now you can simply click "Find similar images" to narrow down the results to the results to the type you want.
Along with Google also has announced the availability of Product Ideas for Google Images. With product ideas, you can post comments that will be seen directly by members of the Images team, as well as vote on ideas that others have submitted.

Will I be able to find one of my images, then identify where all the scum are that ripped it off?
Well putting it that way , yes that’s indeed a magnificent way to catch pirates who rip of images without usage rights.
Yes it could do that as the algorithms are pretty cool and match the images almost exactly, besides that why don’t you try Gazopa we liked the similar images search it provided as well.
When you find those scums just inform us which application Google or Gazopa helped you better…
Cheers…
