We all know that the next thing about the web and desktop are RIAs (Rich Internet Applications) connecting the desktop and the web via cool looking and functioning apps. Adobe pioneered and gained the race advantage via its AIR environment and how could Microsoft be left behind, was the question on everyone’s mind.
We have been working for a while to get a community site together where we can aggregate all the great buzz, resources and discussions about .NET RIA Services. We hope you enjoy the content we already have up there and help us get more good stuff up there.
Microsoft’s Silverlight platform has been catching up the race in fight with adobe flash, the most recent glory again coming to it via being running on the 2011 Olympics site on NBC.
You can access the RIA Services framework here…
For those of you wanting an Intro to the RIA Silverlight Framework, here is the official Intro Video….
